You’re serious about your music. The Record Project brings a committed team around you to turn your songs into a finished, release-ready record — without having to figure out every step alone. Work face to face with your producer in our Adelaide recording studio, with recording, production, mixing and mastering shaped around your sound and goals.

Find Your Next Step

Start by telling us what you’re working on. For a Record Project, the next step is a Clarity Call with Ben.

The Problem

You Have The Songs And The Drive. Bringing It All Together Is The Challenge.

You’ve put real work into your music. But getting from an idea you believe in to a record you’re proud to release can mean carrying every decision yourself:

  • 01

You can hear where the song could go, but need a creative partner to help shape the arrangement, sound and performances.

  • 02

Recording, production, mixing and mastering can feel like separate jobs to organise, without a clear path through them.

  • 03

You want to put your music out with confidence, but the release decisions and visual side can become another project to manage.

Hardworking artists deserve committed production teams. You bring the songs, the preparation and the ambition. We bring a clear plan, creative collaboration and care for the finished record.

The Record Project

Your Music. A Team And A Plan.

The Record Project brings your songs to life with a producer, a clear plan and support from preparation through to your finished record. Recording, production, mixing and mastering are included, with release planning and visual support available to suit your goals. Together, we shape the sessions and support around your single, EP or album.

Your music, your goals — a project plan built around both.

Find out what moving your music forward could look like. On your Clarity Call with Ben, we explore your songs, your goals and the right producer and support for you. Together, we map out your project, confirm the price and book your first sessions when you’re ready to go ahead.

How It Comes Together

Your Song. A Plan Built Around It.

Build towards a finished record that reflects your sound, confidence in the creative decisions you’ve made, and a clear plan for what comes next. Your core project includes:

  • A shared creative direction and a clear project plan
  • Preparation in your artist portal, so you and your producer arrive with a shared brief
  • Face-to-face recording and production to develop your arrangement, sound and performances
  • Track Revision in your portal, so your feedback stays connected to each version of your song
  • A finished record, with editing, mixing and mastering included
  • A six-month roadmap session to plan your next steps
What’s actually scoped to you

Your Producer

Together with Ben, choose the producer who feels right for your music, your goals and the way you like to work.

Your Production Intensity

We plan the production sessions around your songs and what you’ve already prepared. Any release or visual support is scoped across the project.

Need help beyond the music? We can add release planning and digital distribution guidance, or branding, photography and video. We talk through what is useful for your project and include the agreed support in one clear proposal.

Works alongside your existing team

We prepare records for release. We don’t replace the people already around you — the process adapts to whoever’s involved:

  • Manager
  • Independent label
  • Distributor
  • Publicist
  • Or no team at all

If you already have a manager, label, distributor or publicist, we work alongside them. If it is just you, we can help you identify the release support you need and include it in your plan.

We prepare records for release. We don’t replace labels.

If you’re looking for the cheapest way to record, this probably isn’t the right fit. If you’re looking for the right team to help bring your record to life, tell us about your record.

Ideas can start anywhere — including AI. The record itself doesn’t. Every Record Project is written, performed, produced and mixed by our human team, start to finish. Tools like Suno are welcome as a starting reference — they’re never part of the production.

The Team

The Team Around Your Record.

Ben helps scope your project and match you with a producer. We discuss any release, branding or strategy support you need and confirm who will be involved as part of your plan.

Is This For You

Who The Record Project Is For.

Right for you if

  • You have a song, EP or album idea you’re serious about finishing
  • Whatever stage you’re at — a voice memo, a rough demo, an unfinished track, even a Suno or AI-generated reference you want turned into a real, properly produced record — you’re ready to make it properly
  • You want a team invested in the outcome, not just billable hours
  • You’re ready for honest creative direction, not just agreement
  • You’re ready to invest time, preparation and budget in a record you’re proud to release
  • You’ve got a manager, label, distributor or publicist already — or nobody yet. We work alongside whoever’s there, and the process adapts either way

Not right for you (yet) if

  • You’re still experimenting and not sure what you’re making — Artist Lab or Music Production Lab may be the better starting point
  • You’re looking for the cheapest way to record, not the right team
  • You want to dictate every technical decision without any collaboration

If you’re still exploring your direction or building your production skills, Artist Lab and Music Production Lab are two streams within Launch Lab — our 8-week mentorship program at the Adelaide Audio Institute. They give you space to develop your skills and songs before starting a Record Project.

Your Project Journey

From Your First Idea. To Your Finished Record.

We agree your timeline around the music, the sessions and the support you need. These are the stages we work through; release and visual steps apply where they are included in your plan.

00

Scope & Agree Your Plan

We discuss your song, producer, sessions, timeline and quote on your Clarity Call. Any release or visual support is agreed as part of the plan.

01

First Payment & Preparation

Your first payment is part of the project total. It secures your production sessions and opens your portal so you can start preparing.

02

Bring Your Song Into Focus

Upload demos, lyrics and three reference tracks or links to your artist portal, with notes about what inspires you in each. This becomes a shared preparation space where your producer can listen, read your ideas and get a head start before your session.

03

Make The Record Together

Work face to face with your producer in our studio to record, build the arrangement and develop your sound. Your producer also shapes the mix along the way, laying the groundwork for final mixing and mastering.

04

Listen & Leave Feedback

Your artist portal keeps each version of your track and your feedback together. After a session, listen in Track Revision and leave timestamped comments for your producer. You both have a shared place to review ideas and prepare for the next face-to-face session, where you refine the track and add parts.

05

Mixing & Mastering

Mixing brings the recorded parts together into a balanced, cohesive track. Building on the mix work done during production, your producer refines the sound before mastering prepares the finished record for release.

06

Release Support — If Included

Give your finished record a considered introduction to the world. With release support, you get help choosing a release date, navigating digital distribution and preparing your artist bio, playlist pitches and promotion plan — so you know what to do, when to do it and how to talk about your music.

07

Visual Support — If Included

Give people a feel for your music before they press play. Bring your artist identity into focus with branding guidance, photography or video shaped around your sound — creating a consistent look and useful assets for your release, artist profiles and promotion. Together, we choose the visual support that fits your project.

08

Your Six-Month Roadmap

Finish your project with a six-month roadmap session with Ben. Reflect on what you’ve created, clarify your goals and map out practical next steps for your music — giving you a clear direction to keep building on the progress you’ve made.

Step Zero

Your Record Starts With A Conversation.

Your next step is to explore what your song needs. Talk it through with Ben on a Clarity Call and explore the sessions and support that fit your goals.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Few Things You Might Be Wondering.

Your music and goals shape the plan. Here’s how we get started and work together.

Do I need a finished song or a polished demo?

You can bring lyrics, a voice memo, a rough demo or a track you’ve already started. What matters is having an idea you want to develop and being ready to work on it with a producer. On your Clarity Call, Ben helps you work out whether you’re ready to start a Record Project or whether developing the song further would be the best next step.

Can I start with just one song?

Yes. Your project can be a single, several songs, an EP or an album. We agree the songs, sessions and support with you before you begin, so the plan fits what you want to make.

How do we choose my producer?

Together with Ben, you’ll choose the producer who feels right for your music, your goals and the way you like to work. Reference tracks, demos and a conversation about your sound help guide that choice.

How many sessions will I need, and what should I prepare?

That depends on your songs, what you’ve already recorded and the production they need. We agree the sessions and timeline during scoping. Before production, use your artist portal to share demos, lyrics, notes and three reference tracks or links, explaining what inspires you about each. Your producer can see that preparation too.

How do I listen back and ask for changes?

Your artist portal keeps track versions and feedback together. After a session, listen in Track Revision and leave timestamped comments for your producer. You’ll use that feedback in your next face-to-face session to refine the song and add parts. We agree the scope of the work in your project plan; any extra work is discussed with you.

Are mixing, mastering and release support included?

Recording, production, mixing and mastering form the core of your project. Your producer shapes the mix along the way, then refines it before mastering. Release planning, digital distribution guidance, branding, photography and video are optional additions, agreed around your goals. Your project also finishes with a six-month roadmap session with Ben.

How is the project priced, and when do I book?

On your Clarity Call with Ben, we discuss your songs and the support you need. We’ll shape your project plan, confirm the price and payment options, and help you get booked in when you’re ready to go ahead. Your first payment is part of the project total. It secures your production sessions and opens your artist portal so you can start preparing.

What if I’m not sure this is the right fit?

Start with Find Your Next Step and tell us what you’re working on. For a Record Project, a Clarity Call with Ben helps you explore your goals and the support that makes sense for you. If your main goal is to develop your songwriting or learn production, we can also discuss the relevant Launch Lab stream.
